Mighty pleased to meet you. Allow me to introduce you to our family.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dale is the patriarch of the current operation. \u00a0He built it up to the farm it is today. \u00a0His father started the enterprise. \u00a0So that means we are a third-generation farm.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\n

Perry is Dale’s son (& he is my husband). \u00a0He started farming around the age of 7 (no joke!) \u00a0He stays busy working cattle, wrestling bulls,\u00a0overseeing the farm operation, repairing\u00a0equipment, talking to people, planting crops, etc. etc. etc. \u00a0The phrase daylight to dusk applies. \u00a0During the lunch hour you can often find him and other local farmers at one of our two eating locales: Englewood’s Tellico Junction Cafe or Navarro’s Smokehouse \u00a0…drinking sweet tea, eating dessert, and talking farm.<\/p>\n

He’s mischievous with a heart of gold. \u00a0He graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College with a double major in business and a side of TWC Bulldog Soccer (he’s quick to tell you his team went to the National Championship). \u00a0He manages our family\u00a0farm and is also a licensed general and residential contractor. One of his main missions is preserving the land for future generations. Perry\u00a0is usually wearing overalls or a pair of ragged jeans, but don’t let him fool you…he looks pretty handsome in a suit,\u00a0too.<\/p>\n

I’m Sarah. \u00a0I’m a former teacher and now a stay-at-home mom. \u00a0I earned my Ph.D from the University of Tennessee, but am home with my kiddos now. \u00a0I’m also an author. \u00a0It’s hard to believe, but I have a book that lives on the shelves at Barnes & Noble and beyond. \u00a0You can read more at my website by clicking HERE. \u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

I spend my days chasing \u00a0our four children, cleaning up messes, laughing, drinking large quantities of coffee, playing outside with my little ones, writing, cleaning up messes, coloring, rocking my baby, eating chocolate, and watching the tractors drive up and down my driveway. Oh yeah…and figuring out how to remove mud from clothing.<\/p>\n

\u00a0I am\u00a0 blessed that my husband and I\u00a0have the opportunity\u00a0to raise our children on a working farm. \u00a0From feeding the ducks, pigs, and chickens to jumping in mud puddles-the farm is the epitome of paradise for a child.<\/p>\n

We are also fortunate to have a team of men & women who help us with farming. \u00a0I really need to get some more photos up of them! \u00a0I’ll do that. \u00a0They are INTEGRAL to keeping this farm going.<\/p>\n
